Solar Cost Calculator SaaS
Client-facing SaaS calculator for solar energy quotes — dynamic pricing logic, configurable rate cards, and shareable estimates for installers.
01 — Problem
What was in the way.
Installers were quoting solar projects from spreadsheets — slow turnaround, easy to misprice, and impossible to share cleanly with the customer.
02 — Approach
How it was built.
- 01Configurable rate cards so each installer can model their own pricing without code changes.
- 02Quote calculator with dynamic inputs and shareable URLs so customers can revisit and forward an estimate.
03 — Impact
What changed afterwards.
- Quote turnaround compressed from hours to minutes.
- Pricing changes ship as a config update rather than a code release.
